Seattle Ballooning has had an epic balloon season. We completed over 100 flights in front of Mt. Rainier, and captured some incredible photos. Check out our favorites below!
Some of our favorite photos came from days with low fog on the ground with a little bit of smoke in the air from the Washington and Canadian fires.
This photo is of the shadow of the hot air balloon. There was a layer of clouds burning off at 1500ft, and the shadow reflected off the mist creating our very own eclipse. Yeah we like this one too!
We often fly over the Green River just North of the Auburn Valley. Had a friend with a beautiful balloon flying with us that day!
In the evening for sunset hot air balloon flights we often fly down the white river at treetop level. Nothing beats watching eagles gliding around you looking for some dinner.
You can’t have a best of hot air ballooning in front of Mt. Rainier without a couple photos of hot air balloons flying in front of the giant peak.
Thank you to all our guests for an amazing 2017 season! We will see you next May when we open for 2018.-Seattle Ballooning Chief Pilot Eliav and Seattle Ballooning Crew Chief Kyle
