Seattle Ballooning “Sunrise Kickoff” Giveaway: Official Rules

By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to this giveaway (the “Promotion”).

1. Sponsor and Promotion Partners

The Promotion is sponsored and administered by Seattle Ballooning LLC, 2825 SW 170th St., Burien, WA 98166 (“Sponsor”). The Muckleshoot Casino Resort, Honda of Seattle, Toyota of Seattle, and Smoke & Cedar (collectively, the “Promotion Partners”) are providing prize elements and promotional support but do not administer the Promotion and are not responsible for its operation.

2. Eligibility

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the State of Washington who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of entry. Proof of age and residency may be required to claim a prize. Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor and the Promotion Partners, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotion agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Promotion Period

The Promotion begins on June 8, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time and ends on June 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM (noon) Pacific Time (the “Promotion Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible. Sponsor’s computer or device is the official time-keeping device for the Promotion.

4. How to Enter

Entry is free and is made online only. During the Promotion Period, complete all of the following on Instagram and/or Facebook to receive one (1) entry on that platform:

1. Comment on the official Promotion post using the hashtag #SeattleSunriseKickoff;
2. Like the official Promotion post; and
3. Follow @SeattleBallooning, @Muckleshootcasinoresort, @HondaofSeattle, and @ToyotaofSeattle on that platform.

You may enter once on Instagram and once on Facebook. Entering on both platforms gives you up to two (2) entries in the single prize drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person per platform regardless of the number of comments posted.

Tagging a friend and sharing to your Story are optional, are offered for fun only, and are not required to enter and do not affect your odds of winning.

All entries must comply with the applicable platform’s terms of use. Use of any robotic, automated, programmed, or fraudulent entry method, or use of multiple accounts, will void all such entries and may result in disqualification. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or that do not comply with these Official Rules are void.

5. Bonus Entries

Eligible participants may have the opportunity to earn additional entries by participating in related promotional activities or events hosted by Sponsor during the Promotion Period. Details regarding any such bonus-entry opportunities will be communicated directly to eligible participants, and all bonus-entry opportunities are offered at Sponsor’s sole discretion. The maximum number of bonus entries any single participant may earn is five (5).

6. Winner Selection, Drawing, and Odds

One (1) potential grand-prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received across both platforms during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor on or about June 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification and Claim

The potential winner will be notified via direct message and/or comment reply from the official Sponsor and Promotion Partner accounts only. The potential winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where permitted by law) a Publicity Release, and to provide valid government-issued photo identification confirming age and Washington residency, within five (5) days of notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, fails to return required documentation within the stated time, does not meet the eligibility requirements, or declines the prize, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.

8. Grand Prize

One (1) grand prize will be awarded, consisting of:

• Private sunrise hot air balloon ride for two (2) in front of Mt. Rainier aboard the Muckleshoot Casino Resort balloon, operated by Seattle Ballooning. Gratuity is not included. ARV: $1,600.
• One (1) night stay in a luxury room at the Muckleshoot Casino Resort. ARV: $200.
• Dinner for two (2) at Smoke & Cedar. ARV: $250. Alcohol and gratuity are not included.
• Round-trip transportation to and from the balloon ride provided by Toyota of Seattle. ARV: $275.

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the grand prize: $2,325.

9. Prize Conditions and Restrictions

The grand prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee of any kind, express or implied. No cash redemption, transfer, assignment, or substitution of any prize is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize element of equal or greater value if an advertised element becomes unavailable.

• Balloon ride: The hot air balloon ride is weather-permitting and subject to scheduling availability, FAA requirements, and all standard Seattle Ballooning rider requirements, health and weight guidelines, and signed liability waivers. The winner and guest must meet all safety requirements to participate. The ride must be scheduled and redeemed by August 30, 2026.
• Hotel stay and dinner: Must be redeemed by August 30, 2026. The one (1) night hotel stay requires reservations to be made at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance, and blackout dates may apply. To claim the casino-provided portions of the prize, the winner may be required to be, or to become, a Muckleshoot Rewards member; enrollment is free.
• Transportation: Round-trip transportation is provided in coordination with Toyota of Seattle and is subject to scheduling and service-area limitations.

All expenses, costs, and incidentals not expressly described above are the sole responsibility of the winner. Taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. If the total value of the prize is $600 or more, the winner will be required to complete an IRS Form W-9, and Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the prize value.

10. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law.

11. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, each entrant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor, the Promotion Partners, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, officers, directors, and employees from and against any and all claims, liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Promotion, the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, or any travel or activity related to a prize. Entrants assume all risk associated with the hot air balloon experience and related transportation.

12. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s and the Promotion Partners’ use of the winner’s name, voice, likeness, photograph, statements, and social media handle for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice, compensation, or consideration.

13. Platform Release and No Affiliation

This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, Facebook, or any other social media platform. By entering, each entrant completely releases these platforms from any and all liability related to the Promotion. This Promotion is also not affiliated with, sponsored by, authorized by, endorsed by, or associated with FIFA, the World Cup, or any official tournament, team, broadcaster, league, or sponsor.

14. Fraud and Account Safety

All official communications and winner notifications will come only from the official Sponsor and Promotion Partner accounts. Sponsor and the Promotion Partners will never ask entrants for payment, credit card information, or banking information in connection with this Promotion. Please be aware of fake or spam accounts impersonating Sponsor or the Promotion Partners.

15. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy, available at [link]. Entrant information will be used in connection with the administration of this Promotion and as otherwise described in that policy.

16. Disputes and Governing Law

This Promotion and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. All entrants agree that any disputes arising out of or relating to the Promotion shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

17. Winner Announcement

The potential winner will be contacted directly via direct message on the social media platform through which they entered. Following verification of eligibility, the winner’s name or social media handle will be published online at [link]. No winner list will be mailed.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be struck and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
