Ordinary vs Extraordinary

The difference between an ordinary experience and an extraordinary one lies in the details. It’s doing more than people expect, and doing it with perfection.

When we launched Seattle Ballooning, we had a choice: We could purchase hot air balloons that carried 8-10 people to maximize profits, or we could provide private, tailored, luxury experiences with smaller balloons. Hot air ballooning is an activity that most people will only do once in their life. It should be a special, private experience. That’s why, at Seattle Ballooning, we choose to offer our guests the most optimal adventure imaginable.

1.Special Location:

We fly directly in front of Mt. Rainier. For many years, we chose to fly in Woodinville and Snohomish. Seeing Mt. Rainier in the distance was nice, but being “up close and personal” with the mountain, flying over Auburn and Enumclaw, is incredible. It’s similar to living near the Puget Sound versus living in a 6000 square foot mansion on the water.

2.Exclusive Private Experiences:

We choose to fly hot air balloons that carry 1-2 couples at a time, allowing guests a spacious and intimate flight. Many guests use this unique opportunity to ask the pilot questions and to hear stories about the early French ballooning pioneers.

3. Service:

We believe that if you are going to offer luxury experiences, you have to provide extraordinary service. At Seattle Ballooning, we leave no stone unturned. After the balloon lands, our crew sets up a white tablecloth toast. Our guests nibble on triple crème brie, freshly baked baguettes, flaky croissants, organic strawberries from our garden, and sip expensive champagne “sabored” with a sword. If you’re celebrating a special occasion, we often bring fresh cut flowers from our garden for you to bring home.

We understand that celebrating your special occasion with a hot air balloon flight is an incredible gift on its own. If you’re interested in an extraordinary experience with a flight in front of Mt. Rainier, Seattle Ballooning is the only option.

On our website, you can see online availability and book your flight. Although flights are filling up quickly, we still have some weekend openings available in May and June.
