“Ballooning has always been part of my life. So happy to give back to others!”

- Brian Lynch

Flyin’ Brian Lynch grew up in a hot air ballooning family in Temecula, California, where ballooning was not just a profession but a way of life. Surrounded by launches from an early age, he developed a deep connection to flight that eventually became his own career. Since becoming a Commercial Balloon Pilot in 2014, Brian has logged more than 1,000 hours in the air and is known for creating flights that feel both exciting and effortless, whether for first-time passengers or longtime ballooning fans.

Brian also serves as CEO and Director of the Reach for the Stars Hot Air Balloon Foundation, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to making hot air ballooning accessible to everyone, including those who use wheelchairs. Through a specially designed wheelchair-accessible basket, the foundation helps open the experience of flight to people who have traditionally been left out of it.

This year, Seattle Balloon is proud to partner with Reach for the Stars to bring wheelchair-accessible balloon flights to the Pacific Northwest. That partnership expands access to ballooning in the Seattle area and creates new opportunities for guests and families to experience the beauty of flight together.

Currently, I am a part of Seattle Ballooning, where we offer unforgettable hot air balloon rides in Washington State. One of the highlights of my career has been flying in front of the majestic Mt. Rainier, providing breathtaking views and unforgettable experiences for our passengers. These hot air balloon flights are truly special, capturing the essence of the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty.

When he is not flying, Brian is happiest outdoors, whether gardening, hiking, or spending time in nature. No matter the setting, he brings the same grounded energy and love of adventure that have made ballooning such a central part of his life.

Ballooning is more than just a profession for me; it’s a way to bring joy and wonder to others. The sight of a hot air balloon can brighten someone’s day from miles away, and I am grateful to be a part of this magical experience. Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey.
