May-September 2026

Seattle Flights

Location: Greater Seattle area

Flight

Our signature season for classic sunrise and sunset balloon flights across the Pacific Northwest. Expect wide-open views, a calm pace, and that “how is this real life” feeling as the world wakes up below. Dates and launch areas vary with wind and weather, so each flight is one-of-a-kind.

Available Year-Round

Gift Certificates

Location: Available Online

Gift Certificates

The easiest way to gift a real memory without guessing sizes, colors, or return policies. Gift certificates work for flights and experiences, and they’re perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, or a “you deserve this” moment. Recipients can choose a date that fits their schedule.

Festivals

March 6-8, 2026

Winthrop Balloon Festival

Location: Winthrop, WA

Festival

Crisp mountain air, snowy peaks, and a storybook valley make Winthrop one of the most photogenic balloon weekends in Washington. Flights are weather-dependent, but when conditions line up it’s pure magic over the Methow. Plan for early mornings and bring layers.

May 6-10, 2026

Walla Walla Balloon Stampede

Location: Walla Walla, WA

Festival

A wine-country balloon weekend with big skies, soft light, and views that feel unreal at sunrise. It’s the perfect excuse for a getaway, pairing ballooning with tasting rooms, great food, and small-town charm. Festival dates are set, but flights always follow the weather.

September 25-27, 2026

Great Prosser Balloon Rally

Location: Prosser, WA

Festival

Fall in the Yakima Valley is built for ballooning: clear horizons, harvest colors, and golden light for days. Prosser delivers that wide-open, “big sky” feel that makes photos look like postcards. Make a weekend of it with local wineries and warm afternoons after crisp mornings.

2026 (date TBD)

Seattle Ballooning Fest

Location: Seattle, WA

Festival

This one’s in Seattle and we’re still locking details, but the goal is simple: a home-city balloon event that feels unmistakably Seattle. Expect updates as the date, location, and format are confirmed. Check back here as soon as the plan goes from “in progress” to “on the calendar.”

Balloon Glows

June 19, 2026

Burlington Hot Air Balloon Glow

Location: Burlington, WA (Skagit Valley)

Glow

A glow is the after-dark side of ballooning, where balloons become giant lanterns lit by their burners. Burlington’s Skagit Valley setting makes it a fun, family-friendly night out with great vibes and photo moments. More details will be added as the event page is finalized.

June 21, 2026

Seattle Center Hot Air Balloon Glow

Location: Seattle Center

Glow

A rare downtown glow with the Space Needle nearby and big-city energy all around. It’s one of those “only in Seattle” nights where ballooning meets a classic landmark backdrop. Expect crowds, great photos, and a short, high-impact spectacle after dark.

August 15, 2026

Lakewood SummerFEST Hot Air Balloon Glow

Location: Lakewood, WA

Glow

A festival-night glow that turns balloons into bright, flickering lanterns once the sun goes down. It’s a perfect add-on to SummerFEST, with music, food, and a main-event finale feel when the balloons light up. Come early for the festival, stay late for the glow.

December 12, 2026

Green Lake Pathway of Lights Balloon Glow

Location: Green Lake, Seattle

Glow

A winter Seattle tradition where glowing balloons line up like oversized lanterns and transform the lake into a holiday scene. It’s cozy, festive, and wildly photogenic, especially with the lights reflecting on the water. Bundle up and plan for a classic Seattle December night.

FAQs

Do glows fly?
No. Glows are tethered. Balloons inflate and stay secured while they light up.

What time do glows start?
Usually around dusk or early evening. Downtown Seattle Center glow listings have used a posted evening start time, with the main glow happening at dusk.

Are glows family-friendly?
Yes. They’re one of the best ways for kids to experience balloons up close without an early morning flight schedule.

What should I wear?
Layers, closed-toe shoes, and something warm after sunset. Winter glows: add a hat and gloves.
