June – Officially Named As Check It Off Your Bucket List Month

Seattle is ranked #1 as the top destination in the US for checking “hot air balloon ride” off your bucket list. Now that the rain has dissipated and the sun is shining, hot air balloon season is in full force. Since June is the official month to check things off your bucket list, it’s a great time to book your Seattle hot air balloon ride.

Hot Air Balloon Flights South Of Seattle: In Auburn and Enumclaw

One of the most iconic symbols of Seattle is Mt. Rainier. That’s why we offer the majority of our flights directly in front of the 14,416ft peak. Flights in Auburn and Enumclaw allow access to the beautiful Washington countryside and offer extraordinary views of Mt. Rainier. The Maple Valley is known for its award-winning horse farms, cattle ranches, and lush vegetable gardens. Often we get the opportunity to fly directly over the Green River and let the basket skim the top of the water. Most days, you’ll be able to see the Seattle skyline, Tacoma, Lake Tapps, and islands along the sound.

Hot Air Balloon Rides North Of Seattle: In Woodinville and Snohomish

The Snohomish Valley is 45 minutes North of Seattle. For those folks who would like to make a full day of hot air ballooning and wine tasting, you’ve found the right spot. Just 15 minutes from Seattle Ballooning’s launch location, you’ll find tasting rooms and wineries in Woodinville Washington. During your balloon flight, you’ll be able to see the San Juan Islands, Bellevue, Redmond, and Mt. Rainier in the distance. We often fly over the Snohomish River and get to see the carefully designed corn mazes from the sky. Although Snohomish is beautiful, the majority of our guests choose to drive down to Auburn so that they can fly directly in front of Mt. Rainier.

You’ve wanted to take a hot air balloon ride for a long time. Since June is “check it off your bucket list month”, it’s a great time to book your flight.
